About Us

 

NYCTutoring.com provides personalized tutoring in a range of subjects for students in New York City, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx, and the surrounding areas of Westchester County, Western Connecticut, Long Island, and Northeastern New Jersey. All our tutors are well versed in their subjects of expertise, with many having earned graduate degrees and postgraduate qualifications. We also offer customized group classes for companies, colleges, and high schools.

​Job Description

​

Tutors drive the learning and development of their students by seeking out and implementing knowledge and feedback from their educational background and experience, the coaching and development from NYCTutoring.com staff, and their understanding of their students’ goals and interests to execute instruction and engagement at a high level for scholars.

What We're Looking For

​

Requirements

​

• 3.5+ high school and/or undergraduate GPA (unweighted)

• Content expertise as evidenced through AP tests or coursework or degree

• Previous experience in tutoring, working with children or students, or teaching, with a proven track record of results
